WHOLESALE ONLY:
When a wholesaler sells their products retail, especially with sales prices but also when selling at MSRP, they are competing with their stores.

I believe that independent retail is important to support and therefore I do not compete with my store partners by selling retail.   While I don't sell retail, I am always happy to help customers and stores with needs such as lost earring replacement, repair or special orders.  In the case of a purchase, credit is given to a store partner.

HANDMADE TO ORDER IN SEATTLE:
Brass Sand is designed and made to order in Seattle.  If you need customization, no problem! Just make a note at order check out or send an email.

ONLINE BUYING:
Brass Sand is only available online so your buying is convenient and there when you need it. Please feel free to email or call (425) 998.6019 if you have questions about a style. I have have experience in retail management and jewelry sales representation and have your best interests in mind.

IMAGES SHOW RELATIVE SIZE:
Product images are shown in actual relative size. There is an inch for scale at the bottom of product list pages. If image size is reduced to fit, measurements will be in pink.

NO MINIMUMS:
No minimums for opening orders or reorders when buying on brasssand.com. While it is always a good idea to stock enough merchandise to tell a clear and compelling story, there are times when you may need to satisfy the needs of a customer or promotion.

NO MSRP:
Brass Sand does not have suggested retail pricing so retailers are free to set their own markup strategy.

NEW STYLES ALL YEAR:
Customers of independent stores are always looking for something new and something not everyone else has.  For this reason, I add and retire styles throughout the year, not just during trade show seasons. If you are looking for a retired style, just make a note at checkout - I can often make them for you.

FAST SHIPPING & POSTED LEAD TIME:
I do my best to ship as soon as possible and aim for 1-3 day shipping. Estimated time to start making your order is posted on the home page of the site.  For orders with large quantities per item, lead times may be up to 2-4 weeks. If your order is delayed, you will be emailed.

FLAT RATE SHIPPING:
Low, flat rate shipping for U.S. stores so you know what your order costs to ship no matter the size. For current shipping rates, please click here.

Low cost international shipping is also available and varies depending on location.

Packages that are under one pound ship USPS First Class, packages over one pound are shipped USPS Priority (and occasionally if more favorable, with UPS). Orders are shipped with tracking, FOB Seattle.

FREE BACKORDER SHIPPING:
Backordered and out of stock items always ship free. Out of stock items that are expected back in stock within two weeks are flagged "BACKORDER". Items that are expected to be out of stock longer than 2 weeks are temporarily taken offline. Backorders totaling less than $25 will be canceled. If backordered items to be available within a day or two your order might be delayed.

30 DAY EXCHANGES:
I want you to have styles that work well or your store and customer. If something isn't working for you, please email to arrange a return for merchandise credit. After 30 days, reasonable exchanges can be made for future order credit, however, credit issued can only be redeemed on orders totaling at least twice the returned value.

EASY REPAIR / REPLACEMENT:
Simply email a picture to request replacement or credit towards your next order. For repairs outside of the United States, we can only issue credit.

DISPLAY CARDS:
Branded carding is complimentary but must be requested. Options can be selected at checkout. Please note that jewelry will NOT arrive pre-carded.

GENUINE GEMSTONES:
Type of gemstones used is listed on the site and are also noted on packing lists.

NICKEL FREE:
All styles are nickel free to satisfy the needs of most of your sensitive customers. 

EXCLUSIVITY:
I typically try to make sure stores have about a half mile radius of exclusivity.  That being said, exclusivity wishes are varied and I make mistakes so if you need exclusivity, please email dana@brasssand.com.  

PRIVACY AND SECURITY:

  • Your information is not shared with anyone.
  • All credit cards transactions are processed securely by Stripe, no card information is stored by Brass Sand. We reserve the right to charge stored cards for backorders or due unpaid invoices if available.
